Soooo our big day is finally here! I will sleep good tonight because I did not sleep last night. My excitement stole about 3 hours of sleep from me and in case you don't know me, I HAVE to have 8 hours of sleep! Anyway, we arrived about 15 minutes early along with my mom, sister, and Nick's mom. We all sat patiently...well they did. I had already had 2 cups of coffee (yes caffeine is usually a no no but I wanted Baby D to be moving around) and I had to potty BAD. It seemed like we waited forever! Finally, we all go back and the sweet ultrasound tech put some cold cream on my belly and I knew it was showtime! Before I knew it, little princess was bouncing around on the screen. Talk about bringing tears to your eyes! We actually didn't know it was a "she" for about 2-3 minutes. She would not be still! The tech mentioned that she couldn't get a good look at it to tell what "it" was. Well BOOM! She throws her fannie in the air and we know we have a girl!

I look around and we all have little tears in our eyes. Nick was soo sweet. I know that DEEP DEEP down he wanted a boy, but he would never let on. He just stared at the screen with the sweetest face! After it was all said and done, we now know that our little girl is growing like she is supposed to and everything looks great. WHEW!

After the appt. I did get Nick to All About Baby where we walked around and looked at every piece of furniture and clothing item. However, if you know Nick, he was trying to figure out a way to build the furniture so we wouldn't have to buy it. Ahh thrifty Nick. Looks like the little pieces of furniture above may go on the back burner. What can I say? I love his thrifty self!
